(Photo by Doug Pensinger/Getty Images)It’s hard to ignore Alabama’s start this season, especially considering the average margin of victory. However, the Crimson Tide aren’t the only undefeated team making noise this season. For the second consecutive season, the UCF Knights are beating their competition with ease. The offense is averaging 48.6 points per contest, as McKenzie Milton keeps putting up video-game statistics.Despite all their success, the Knights don’t receive a lot of respect from the national media.Well, ESPN analyst Andre Ware wants to change the narrative around UCF, as he made an interesting assessment about the team. Not only did he praise the program’s success, but he also said the Knights are right behind Alabama. From 247sports.com:“Right behind Alabama, without a doubt,” Ware said. “Because of the speed and the way they play defense. The speed is hard to track. That’s going to give anybody problems. It’s the interior parts of this football team that you get enamored with.”UCF is currently on an 18-game winning streak, dating back to last season. Even when they finished with a 13-0 record under Scott Frost, the Knights weren’t taken seriously. With two tough games against Cincinnati and South Florida to finish the season, it won’t be an easy for UCF. Nonetheless, the Knights have a golden opportunity to go undefeated again.
