He gives us more competition on the left side.”He is a very good player. He’s been training with top players at Leicester and he has handled that well.”He’s got a really good left foot and he wanted to be here and that’s vital for me. I need players who want to come here and play for this club.”Elder added: “I had a good chat with the gaffer about three weeks ago and he said he wanted me to come down and be a big part of the squad.”I was really eager to come and get involved.” last_img

North Ruimveldt shopkeeper apprehended with narcotics

first_imgA North Ruimveldt shopkeeper is now in hot water after she was caught last Wednesday with narcotics in her possession.Forty-nine-year-old Ramona Husian was arrested by ranks in her home.According to reports, Police, acting on information received, swooped down on Husian’s premises and a search was carried out. Leaves, seeds and stems suspected to be cannabis were subsequently discovered. She was told of the suspicion and taken to the Ruimveldt Police Station where the substance was tested and found to be 16 grams of cannabis.As such, she was told of the offence, cautioned and charged. Husian is expected to be taken before the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts, where she will be arraigned for the said offence.last_img
